The Supreme Court has issued a notice on Thursday to reserve educational institutions, government jobs and scholarships for “orphan” equivalent to a non-governmental organization/government and other SC / ST and other co-operative societies in central, state and all union territories.

Justice Ranjan Gogoi and Justice B. A Bench of Benuthi, a social activist, has responded to the P IL filed by social worker Polomi Pavini Shukla, who questioned the inaction of the Center and the State and realized the lack of opportunities and opportunities for orphans.

The applicant has mentioned that when the Indian government provides reservation to different categories of children with parents, no benefit is provided to orphans, who are required. As a result of this inactivity, India has failed to protect the fundamental rights of the weak people and denied them the right to equal rights.

The applicant said, unfortunately, these weaker citizens do not have voters as they increase the number of more than two billion people, there is no spokesman or pressure group for them. He said that the government of India and the states must provide ‘orphans’ who do not have any rights to any family support or any organization with any reservation.
